Digital Lincoln meets Richard Paul

  • Mosaic Thomas Parker House 13-14 Silver Street, Lincoln UK (map)

Richard is an experienced Windows, Linux, AWS & GCP systems administrator and a regular at Digital Lincoln events. He is working as Senior Systems Administrator at PrimarySite, the UK leading provider of Primary School website design services.

A proper hardware, software and OS geek since the late '90s, there isn't much that Richard hasn't overclocked, modded or built. He also finds time, as a Pythonista, to dabble in Python / Django development, both for web and local development as aiding his partner with her research projects.

In a new format event for Digital Lincoln, we're asking Lincoln locals to share their experiences of technical projects. So in this first, case study style event, Richard will talk about building your own TLS load balancer with Haproxy and Let's Encrypt for over 10K domains.

If this sounds a bit technical for you, don't worry. We'll be including plenty of time to socialise and catch up with other Digital Lincoln members. This event will take place at Lincoln's new Digital Hub, Mosaic so we hope you can join us to have a look at this great new space with drinks and pizza provided by our kind sponsors.

Car parking is available on Free School Lane or 2 minutes walk away at Broadgate multistory car park.
