Introducing Lincoln's tech scene

Lincoln's Universities are booming, bringing 15,000 students a year to the city. However with normal freshers activities cancelled and lockdown restrictions in place how can you find out more about what is happening with the local scene?

Outside of university, lots of people want to make new friends with a common interest. Learn about new things, share experiences and perhaps even make professional connections that could lead to a new career? But how can we do this when real-world events are cancelled?

Do no fear, Digital Lincoln has you covered. Join us for a friendly guide for students or anyone who is curious about getting involved in Lincoln's growing tech scene.

You'll find out about the places where stuff is happening. Learn about events such hackathons, presentation, gaming nights and how you can get involved in online communities that keep going despite the pandemic.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A session followed by a discussion about how Digital Lincoln can help you make contacts and learn new things through the lockdown. As well as the main talk, there will be plenty of time to socialise and chat online with other Digital Lincoln members.
