Let’s talk about Digital Skills

A 2019 report in Lincolnshire's Digital Landscape highlighted the availability of skilled workers continues to be a major concern for digital businesses. However, Lincolnshire is not alone in facing this challenge.

It has been estimated that the existing digital skills gap sees the UK lose out on £63bn in GDP every year. As a result of Covid-19, traditional industries are digitalising, and with our ways of working rapidly changing, this figure is only going to rise. So what can we do to help bridge the digital skills gap? Join us on Tuesday 15th December at 7 pm for a panel discussion on Digital Skills featuring two guest speakers:

Zoe King is Director & Senior Developer at Epix Media, the Creative Studio for Ambitious Brands. She is an independent Governor at the University of Lincoln and SME Champion and Digital Ambassador for the Greater Lincolnshire Enterprise Partnership.

Leigh Edwards is a recruitment consultant for Rebel Recruiters, a convention-breaking tech recruitment service based in Nottingham. He is also the founder of LevelUp! Nottingham, A monthly meetup aimed at providing opportunities and guidance for those wanting to embark on a career in tech.

After the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A session and plenty of time to socialise and chat online with other Digital Lincoln members. I hope you can join us. Please register using the zoom link below:
